Welcome to Random Thoughts.

Random Thoughts is a shared journal of political expression done as a Wiki. There are no official "editors" or bosses, and this journal is built around the principles of shared editing and community knowledge, rather than that of "idea ownership" found and promoted in many of the more conventional journals.

How to use this journal

All pages are generally open for editing unless expressly locked by someone. Articles may be edited in a shared form or entirely individually as one may choose. Anyone wishing to edit can create a user account. You will also get a User:xxxx page when you do this, and you can use it as a page to cross reference articles you are the primary author of, or for other purposes.

Articles can be freely created anywhere, though it is usually easier for locating them later to connect and attach them to one or more of the index pages, or perhaps off your personal page, or perhaps from another article if you wish. There is no explicit structure other than voluntary structures chosen by article contributors.

Generally most of the articles are presumed to be related to political expression. This site believes in the principles of free speech and free expression, and does not impose limits as to what may constitute valid or invalid political expression. We believe people are capable of acting intelligently when free to do so, rather than requiring someone to tell them how to.

To edit on this wiki you need to create a user id.

All public articles should be listed in the Topic Index.
